VISA APPLICATION
Generally there are three (3) methods to apply for Indonesian visa:
- Through an Indonesia Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence. Kindly visit the Directorate General of Immigration Republic of Indonesia website for further information.
- Apply e-Visa through The Official e-Visa Website for Indonesia
- Visa On Arrival at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (see below for country eligibility).
Everyone entering Indonesia should have their passport validity at least six (6) months at the time of their visit.
Invitation Letter
The application process for short visit or obtaining Indonesian visa generally does NOT require an Invitation Letter. Should you still need an Invitation Letter for additional administrative matters, please email at ais.pacis2026@gmail.com.
Countries that does not require visa to enter Indonesia
According to Directorate General of Immigration Republic of Indonesia Visa Exemption page, member of ASEAN countries does not require visa to enter Indonesia. Which are:
- Brunei Darussalam
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Vietnam
- Philippines
- Cambodia
- Singapore (Singapore citizens and foreigners who are permanent residents in Singapore)
- Myanmar
- Laos
- Timor Leste
Other countries that also granted visa exemption on entering Indonesia are:
- Suriname
- Colombia
- Hong Kong
- Türkiye
- Brazil
Countries that eligible for Visa on Arrival (VoA)
VOA applications are submitted by Foreigners at certain Immigration Checkpoints (TPI), with the following requirements:
- A valid passport of the nationality and valid for at least six months,
- Return ticket or return ticket to continue traveling to another country, except for the crew of the conveyance who will stop by to join the ship and continue traveling to another country.
